7) It’s strange that Madison seems so determined to bring Charlie back into the fold, considering her betrayal in the previous episode.

8) Nick getting tackled by a pair of infected is kind of reminiscent of Carl’s demise in the latest season of The Walking Dead. Was this foreshadowing Nick’s death?

9) During their argument about getting revenge against The Vultures, Nick says to Morgan “You know what they did to me!” …How? How would Morgan know what The Vultures did? Did Nick tell him off-screen, or something? Is this a continuity error?

10) Ennis reveals that he and Mel are brothers. This would make the second pair of hostile brothers we’ve seen in either Walking Dead show, the first being the pirates Reed and Connor in Season Two.

11) Nick’s fear of what being in the wasteland does to a person parallels the gist of Morgan’s statement to Rick after killing the Savior escapees in Season Eight’s “Still Gotta Mean Something”: Everybody turns (Into a killer).

12) Throughout this episode, despite several run-ins with them, The Vultures still don’t refer to themselves as such.
