Fear The Walking Dead gave fans a breather after that major character death last week, but more big deaths may be coming.

In the last episode of Fear The Walking Dead ‘Good Out There’ fans were shocked by the death of series original Nick Clark. In this week’s episode ‘Buried’ Victor, Luciana, and Alicia gave a little more insight into what happened that set them on the path that led to Nick’s death.

While answering Althea’s question the three revealed some very important backstory information. There is more of the story to be revealed but it’s clear that things definitely went bad at the diamond and at least some of the survivors, maybe all of them, didn’t make it out.

It was also revealed that Naomi is actually Laura, the woman that John has been searching for. Alicia told John that Naomi didn’t make it out of the diamond and that The Vultures killed her. But did they? Or could it be that Naomi just got separated from the rest of the group? Until more of the back story is revealed there’s no way to know for sure if Naomi is really dead.

Alicia, Strand and Luciana buried Nick in a place where they had hidden a pretty large weapons cache. After they said their last goodbyes to Nick they prepared to hunt down The Vultures and kill all of them. Althea agreed to take them to where The Vultures had a rendezvous point set up. But John, reeling from the news that Naomi might be dead, chose to stay behind. And Morgan is staying with him.

Where Is Madison?

Madison hasn’t been seen except in flashbacks, and it’s looking more and more like she might be another casualty of The Vultures. Madison and Naomi were both at the diamond, so if Naomi didn’t make it out then it’s possible Madison didn’t either.

There is a lot of circumstantial evidence that Madison could also be dead. Nick’s rage at Ennis could have been because Madison was killed by The Vultures. And the fact that Madison wasn’t with Nick, Alicia, Strand and Luciana definitely makes it seem like she’s dead, because Madison would never willingly leave her family.

But until there is a definitive death scene it can’t be assumed that Madison is dead. This is The Walking Dead universe after all, and people get separated or go missing all the time. If Madison managed to find her family and her friends after the dam blew up and somehow make it all the way to Texas she’s capable of surviving The Vultures. Maybe next week we will get more clues about Madison’s fate. Until then TWDFamily can breathe for a moment because no major deaths happened in Fear The Walking Dead ‘Buried’.
