The bad things from FearTWD 404

  1. Treating Cole like a child. Strand seems to REALLY dislike Cole for some reason. It hasn’t been explained until this point and learning the reason why was something that could have avoided a lot of tension and confusion in camp. All it takes is talking…and there is plenty of time for that in the apocalypse.
  2. Blaming Charlie for everything. Yes, Charlie was the mole and she shot Nick. However, she did so for her ‘family’ of the Vultures and as revenge for killing Ennis, who seemed to have a father-type role with Charlie. It’s amazing how things change when you look at the other point of view.
  3. Dividing up and attacking. I love the buddy system for some things. However, using it as a way to take out a big group of walkers might not be the best approach unless it is absolutely necessary. There is power in numbers, and 2 just isn’t a very big number. Maybe 3 of 4 would be a little smarter in the future.
  4. Strand’s selfishness. Keeping food from the survivors when it could be used to feed everyone at the settlement is a massive jerk move. There’s always hope that he can be a team player and help everyone, but in the end, it’s hard for a leopard to change its spots.
  5. Hindsight is 20/20. It’s easy for the survivors to look back at a situation after one outcome is determined and wish for a different one. But who’s to say that alternative techniques would have resulted in better outcomes? These people need to be thankful for what they have and work together to protect their lives, not kick themselves for not doing something different.
  6. Revenge isn’t worth it. Al needed to decide whether to help a group kill a lot of people or continue helping John on his quest to find the woman with the matching gun. Her decision will lead more people into danger, and Morgan and John’s lack of effort in talking them out of it is disappointing.
  7. Wait…so Naomi’s dead? I’m not buying it. I’m guessing she left and told hem not to say anything about where she went. We do know the bad history of medical personnel on these zombie shows, but they couldn’t have only brought in Jenna Elfman for a few episodes, right?
