Who is John Dorie, and how did he come to meet Naomi, who we learned is the Laura he has been looking for? We’re in for a great story this week on Fear the Walking Dead.

Here’s the official synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead “Laura” from AMC:

"“The arrival of a wounded visitor in John Dorie’s life forces him to change his ways.”"

This week we have a chance to get to know John Dorie. He seems like a really nice guy, and there are a lot of fans hoping that he remains the nice guy. But there are some theories out there that he’s part of the reason Laura (Naomi) was so flighty. Did she escape him, or were they separated by some catastrophic event?

We also have to consider that something happened that made Alicia say she’s “gone.” Maybe she isn’t really dead. John is certainly intent upon finding out the truth. Alicia, Strand and Luciana haven’t been forthcoming when it comes to the truth, so maybe they took Naomi’s supplies and she’s still out there.

The truth is out there, as they say, and John is going to find out for himself. Thankfully, Morgan plans to stick with him so he’ll have some company on this expedition. And knowing Fear the Walking Dead, this won’t be an easy journey.
