They may have moved on from The Walking Dead, but Chandler Riggs and Chad L. Coleman will reunite on the TBS  show Drop the Mic.

It’s the battle of the undead as Chad L. Coleman and Chandler Riggs face off on the TBS singing competition Drop the Mic. The Walking Dead alum will challenge each other in a rap battle of the ages.

This week’s episode of Drop the Mic, which airs on TBS at 10:30pm, will fit in perfectly between Fear the Walking Dead and Talking Dead, which airs after Into the Badlands. Both Riggs and Coleman are beloved members of the TWD Family whose characters met their demise at the hand of the undead. Coleman has been gone for a while now, but Riggs’ loss is still fresh on fans’ minds. It will be nice to see both actors together again, even if they’re engaged in an epic rap battle of their own.

Chandler Riggs, an accomplished musician, is clearly excited about the opportunity to flaunt his mic skills, taunting Chad L. Coleman on social media ahead of the big event.

For his part, Coleman was happy to return the jabs:

Celebrity lip syncing and rap battle competitions have been growing in popularity over the years, and Drop the Mic celebrates freestyle rapping between celebrity guests. What we’re excited to see is whether the songs have any references to The Walking Dead, which would be pretty darn cool.

Will you be tuning in to see Chandler and Chad battle it out? It should be a lot of fun to see these TWD alum together again!
