1) Ennis is the first named character we’ve seen turn, and the second character who’s turned this season. The first was the stranger Morgan met in the season opener, “What’s Your Story?”.

2) This episode’s title sequence is in relatively low resolution, similar to how things look through Althea’s camera.

3) Speaking of which, we have gotten no further clues this week as to who’s story is so important to Althea.

4) The flashbacks in this episode take place two weeks after The Vultures arrival at the ballpark in “Another Day In The Diamond”.

5) While we’re on the topic of time, how long has it been between since The Diamond (apparently) fell and now? We’ve never gotten any clue yet, and, as the flashbacks are now showing an increasingly long time of The Vultures waiting around The Diamond, it makes one wonder how close or far that time was from the present.

6) Strand, obviously, takes Cole with him on his run. Apparently, it took two weeks for Cole to finally get Strand to hang out with him, which he complained about in “Another Day In The Diamond”.

7) Cole reveals to Strand that he studied at Texas A & M. As he seems to know which plants they should collect, presumably, he studied botany or agriculture.

8) How did the infected get all the cactus spines in their faces? No, seriously, did they die eating them? None of the cacti seem disturbed, making it seem unlikely they fell on them, so…how’d they get there?
