9) Cole calling the infected “pricks” (While he has cactus spines sticking out of his arm) is both ironic and hilarious.

10) John reveals to Morgan that he was a cop before the outbreak. He’s the first main character in Fear to have been one. Of course, he’s not the first former cop Morgan has befriended in the apocalypse…

11) Alicia raises a good question to Naomi: How does she know so much about cars? Was this our first clue about her relationship to John?

12) What’s the significance of Strand’s rock? Is it from the Gonzalez Dam? If so, it’d explain Strand using it to remind himself of who he doesn’t want to be.

13) Alicia and Naomi’s misadventures in the slide tower at Whirlin’ Waves reveals where Alicia got the gun barrel club/spear she’s been wielding thus far.

14) While trying to talk Naomi out of leaving, Alicia references her brief departure from the group after Broke Jaw Ranch fell in Season Three’s “This Land Is Your Land”.

15) The librarian infected’s pile of books, combined with his broken pair of big, thick, round glasses seem like a reference to the classic Twilight Zone episode “Time Enough At Last”, starring Burgess Meredith, and feels equally tragic.

16) Mel’s former home, a cattle ranch with two or three other families, sounds, coincidentally, like Madison group’s last home, Broke Jaw Ranch.
