The Walking Dead’s Jadis, Pollyanna McIntosh, is co-writing the screenplay for a new upcoming film Boil with Director Tomer Almagor.
Actress Pollyanna McIntosh recently announced her directorial debut with Darlin’ a direct sequel to 2011 film The Woman. Darlin’ is being directed and co-written by McIntosh with the Walking Dead star reprising her role as The Woman. Now, UndeadWalking.com has uncovered that Jadis has also secretly been co-writing another project, secretly under wraps. The film known simply as Boil, is based around a story by Director Tomer Almagor and actor Joey Capone. McIntosh is penning the screenplay along with Almagor, showing McIntosh is interested in expanding on her talents.
The only known cast members at the moment are actor Shane Almagor, presumably Tomer’s son. It’s unknown at the moment if McIntosh will also be starring in the film or only involved in a behind the scenes manner. Consider that Boil will only be the second project outside of Darlin’ where McIntosh is directly involved with the screenplay of a film.
It’s a big step and transition for any actress. She’s previously been involved in projects as a voice actress in GTA 4, Dante’s Inferno, and most recently Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. Meaning she’s always been open to broaden her horizons acting or otherwise.

McIntosh is also starring in upcoming horror film Its Walls Were Blood which has been in development since May 2015.
By the way season 8 of The Walking Dead ended with her leaving the junkyard for Rick’s community, it’s more or less confirmed Jadis/Anne will be back for season 9. Some fans have even crafted Whisperer theories with her as Alpha.
McIntosh’s feature film Darlin’ also stars Walking Dead / Scavenger alumni Sabrina Gennarino and the Kingdom’s very own Jerry, Cooper Andrews. Clearly, McIntosh made some great lifelong friends on the set of The Walking Dead. Only Jerry will be coming back for season 9 though as we saw Tamiel meet her end at the hands of Simon himself during a Savior negotiation back at the junkyard.
