The good stuff from FearTWD 405

  1. Trying to live a ‘normal’ life. Watching John wake up to an alarm clock, brushing his teeth, making his bed, and more is pretty close to the closest thing you can get to normal living in the zombie apocalypse. It’s good to have a routine if you’re not constantly fighting for your life.
  2. John acting like a good guy! He does everything a good-natured person would do. He’s helpful, polite, and kind. He offers his resources and his home to a stranger washed up on the shore. All of this points in the direction of him being a good survivor to have on your side.
  3. Every night is movie night. Movies, treats, and company. It’s got all the makings for a great night. While ‘Laura’ may not take the time to enjoy the little things, it’s great of John to let her in on his creature comforts and keep the movie log book at the store completed in the meantime.
  4.  Wanting to learn how to fish. Living in the apocalypse, having skills and resources available can make you a much better survivor and increase your chances of living exponentially. Being able to fish can be the difference between eating a meal and going hungry. Plus, John truly loves fishing.
  5. John’s shooting clinic. Viewers of the show already knew that John is a crack shot. His ability with his revolver is something that drew awe in earlier episodes. Still, watching him go all McCree from Overwatch on that group of walkers attacking ‘Laura’ was pretty darned cool!
