Fear The Walking Dead, Laura: Things To Note

Cards on the table: I love episodes like this. Whether it’s The Walking Dead or Fear, I love the episodes that follow one (Or in this case, two) character(s). I feel like they’re nice little windows; chances to see the character(s) in question a little more intimately. Episodes like this show us a better glimpse of the character(s) than any little snippets we’d have gotten of them over half a dozen episodes set in the present ever could.

In this episode, we watched, essentially, John’s retelling of his time with Naomi some time before this season began. We watched as he found her washed up on the shore of the river in front of his house, how he helped her recover from injury, how they became friends, and, eventually, fell in love.

This, however, was plainly obvious to anyone watching it. What you’re here for are the little things, the things that you might not have noticed the first time you watched it. It is those things that I seek to provide you with.
