Fear The Walking Dead, Laura: Things To Note

13) It’s funny that Naomi tells John how sick she’s seen people get just being exposed to infected blood, considering how often it’s been used for camouflage in both Walking Dead series and how it (Rather suddenly) made people sick in Season Eight of The Walking Dead.
14) John having to use his six-shooters to save Naomi, despite his aversion to doing so, seems rather reminiscent of Morgan killing Roman to save Carol back in The Walking Dead Season Six episode, “Last Day On Earth”.
15) In fact, Naomi’s desire to leave, apparently so she won’t see people she cares about die, parallels Carol’s desire to do much the same in the aforementioned Season Six of The Walking Dead.
16) Morgan telling John that waiting is how you lose people is a subtle reference to Duane, as Morgan’s decision to hold off putting down Jenny was what cost him his son.
