Sherry

Last but not least, one of Negan’s wives and Dwight’s ex-wife from The Sanctuary. Sherry doesn’t carry a weapon but the burden of having to be wed to a man she hated so the man she loved could live.

Sherry was just one of several of Negan’s wives, put in the position to spare or help someone she loved. When she and Dwight were caught escaping The Sanctuary by The Saviors, Sherry offered to be one of Negan’s wives to save Dwight’s life.

Dwight’s face met the iron regardless as he returned to his post as a Savior. Afterward, Sherry took the risk to meet with her ex-husband in secret without Negan’s whereabouts.

Her bravery was put to the test when she helped Daryl escape. In the process, she fled back to where she and Dwight promised to meet if they were ever separated leaving him a note.

When Dwight returned a second time during the season 8 finale, she left him another note signaling that she was still alive. Sherry’s reserved spot on this list is rightfully earned.

She spoke for the women under the control of a man with limited to no options. Though all of Negan’s wives fit this description Sherry had the most screen time and thus more is known about her than the others.

Now free from Negan, it would be nice to see her and Dwight reunite and try to rekindle their marriage. It would be fairly interesting to see her take a position at The Sanctuary with Negan’s previous wives.

Though Dwight will be the first to embrace her, he still has to find her. Hopefully, the damage is not permanent and she returns in the next season.
