Overall impression of FearTWD 406

So…wow. Let’s try to take a bit more of this in. There were basically two storylines going on in this episode. One involved Naomi trying to redeem herself for what happened at the school with her daughter and the other being the groups attempted ambush of The Vultures.

Both stories were heartbreaking in their own way, and mostly, both revolved significantly around Naomi, who was revealed to definitely not be dead and seems to have a working relationship with every survivor around.

Learning the story of Naomi’s daughter was hard, but it was even more difficult to process that she would be driving the mystery vehicle that arrived at the meeting place and have John jump in front of a bullet for her.

That all said, the question of what happened to force the survivors out of the baseball field still needs to be addressed since Mel and the gang left and they had sustainable resources to survive long-term there.

Still, this is an episode that keeps FearTWD as one of the top shows on television in terms of character development, drama, and surprises. Viewers should walk away from this episode impressed and wondering if their favorite character will last even one more week.

EPISODE GRADE: 8.9/10
