New Daryl Dixon action figure will delight fans

McFarlane Toys announces a brand new Daryl Dixon action figure that will delight The Walking Dead fans with its lifelike details.

The Walking Dead fans have a wide variety of action figures and collectibles to choose from, but the latest offering from McFarlane Toys might just be the most lifelike yet. Entertainment Weekly released exclusive details of the new Daryl Dixon figure featuring Daryl and his leather jacket. And a rocket launcher.

In order to provide a lifelike rendering, McFarlane Toys based the design on 3D scans they made of actor Norman Reedus. While this 10-inch figure can certainly be used to reenact scenes from the show, most collectors will probably keep this figure on a desk or bookshelf.

The Daryl Dixon action figure will retail for $39.99 and will be available in stores in October 2018, just in time for the premiere of The Walking Dead season 9.

McFarlane toys has created several collectible action figures and statues of The Walking Dead characters over the years, but this one might be their best-selling figure considering how many Daryl Dixon fans there are, and also considering how detailed this figure it. From the creases of his clothes to the muscles on his arms, and even to the wisps of hair framing his face – the details are incredibly precise. As writer Isaac Feldberg at EW notes, “At the very least, he’s easy on the eyes.”
