Gracie’s New Family

Remember Gracie? What has she been up to and better yet who is her designated guardian?

When Rick initially decided to take her with him after killing presumably her father, Aaron was the first to take her into his arms. Since then, the baby girl had been seen in a crib, usually near Maggie.

Even Jerry spent some time with her while Rick finally read Carl’s letter. It would be nice to see more of her, perhaps playing with Judith and finding out just who will be raising her.

Will it be one person or an entire community? The sight of another child in the apocalypse is a breath of fresh air considering repopulation will have to be a reality The Walking Dead needs to face.

Rick and the others cannot live forever and there will be a need for others to take over in the years to come. Perhaps we will have a time jump and see Gracie a little more grown and she may be a key player in future plot lines.

Perhaps most importantly is whether Gracie will be told the truth of what happened to her family? Will she be none the wiser or understand the harsh reality of what the apocalypse does to even the best people?
