The good stuff from FearTWD 408

  1. Wait…Althea knew Madison too! It’s interesting to watch these stories intertwine. Characters who we thought had never met have interacted before have…and Al knows some details about Madison that the group would love to know, but has NO IDEA it is relevant. Maybe she’s on a tape!
  2. I don’t know who the bad guys are. Alicia is acting like on a whim, Charlie killed Nick, and each side has done some highly questionable things. It is this kind of storytelling that makes the situations even more interesting and complicated. When you don’t know who to root for, it makes it even more compelling.
  3. Hearing more about Althea. Her reason for wanting to record everything has been pretty weak to this point, but hearing her story about the villagers standing up to Twisted Round helps to show why it’s so important for her to record the stories of others, for them and for her.
  4. Madison doesn’t give up. Whether it is finding a home for her kids, some stability for herself, or a world where people can trust each other a little, the video of her taken by Al was a powerful one and let viewers in on just how much of a sacrifice she was willing to make for her family.
  5. Noodles save lives! Despite being high in carbohydrates and sodium, it turns out that the noodles that Althea traded to Madison to get her interview ended up stopping a full-blown war between two groups of our favorite survivors! Who knew that cheap noodles were so powerful?!
  6. John is going to be okay! I really like the couple of him and his ‘Laura’. Their love is a great story and their bottle episode made me like them even more. Knowing they are going to survive into the second half of season 4 is great.
