Synopsis for the second half of Fear The Walking Dead season 4

Fear The Walking Dead looks to pit the survivors of the zombie apocalypse against walkers and the elements when the second half of season 4 premieres on AMC.

After watching the first eight episodes of Fear The Walking Dead season 4, fans have to be very concerned about the future of their favorite characters knowing that anyone can go at any time on the AMC show.

Thankfully, fans were given some information to go on heading into the season 4 midseason premiere on Sunday, August 12, 2018 when AMC issued a press release giving a synopsis for what to expect in the final 8 episodes of the season.

The synopsis started by setting the stage for where the survivors are now. It explained the hard journey the characters took to get to where they were in the final moments of the midseason finale, but that they are finally not alone or splintered.

"“The first half of season four began with one figure huddled around a campfire, and ended with nine. Characters who started their journeys in isolation collided with each other in unexpected ways and found themselves in one of the last places they ever expected to be…together.”"

Watching all the characters come together was great in the first 8 episodes of season 4 was a lot of fun. Meeting John. June, and Althea plus adding The Walking Dead character Morgan to the already-amazing cast only enhanced the #3 rated cable drama among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 in Nielson live+3 ratings.

Now, these characters look to move forward and find a means to survival as they face off against new threats and seek to move on from the crushing losses they experienced in the first half of the season.

"“In the back half of the season they will explore who they are now – as individuals and as part of the greater group – and how they will forge ahead. They will find themselves pitted against new adversaries – human, walker, and even nature itself. Theirs will be a journey wrought with danger, love, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, hope.”"

Hope is something the survivors could use right now following the events at the baseball stadium. After so many crushing defeats and huge losses in season 4A, fans could use a little happiness and hope that things will get better for the survivors going forward.
