Andy

Rick’s world got bigger when he met Jesus and learned more about the man named Negan. Andy was one of the residents at The Hilltop who made his stance with Rick the moment he agreed to Rick’s plan of infiltrating what they believed to be the main Savior base.

Falsely bringing Gregory’s head (which was a walker head of similar features) to the Saviors was the beginning of a night of death and premature victory.

Even after Negan made his appearance and Rick lost several friends, Andy remained a familiar face at The Hilltop. Though coming off frightened and unsure of Rick’s leadership, he over time began to find his place as a devoted warrior.

When Maggie officially became the new leader at The Hilltop, Andy, like the majority of the residents living there pledged their allegiance to her. However as quickly as All Out War began Andy’s life ended in the season 8 episode “Monsters”.

Though he died in the very beginning of the war with the Saviors, he was seen several times fighting back, almost finding newfound confidence in Rick’s approach of taking a stand. Much like Tobin, Andy could have continued on as a warrior during battles and possibly a recruiter for more survivors after the war.

From there he could have gone on more supply runs with Jesus and perhaps could have been a much-needed spy for Rick during the several attacks on the multiple Savior outposts. He could have just as easily been gifted one of the old Savior outposts to use as a rendezvous point if necessary.
