Five underestimated men from The Walking Dead
Conclusion
The interesting thing about this list is every man mentioned is no longer on The Walking Dead. Some only appeared for one episode.
But it’s important to notice that in one episode these characters had outstanding development and characteristics that make them as unforgettable as they are. Though fans are used to seeing Rick making confidence boosting speeches and Negan using Lucille to crush walker skulls, some of the strongest men are simply so because of their impact.
Where would Morgan be when he reunited with Rick if he hadn’t met Eastman beforehand? Would Rick have been so easy to trust in good people again if he hadn’t met Sam, Tobin, and Andy?
It’s hard to imagine how Martinez’s group would have fared if not for Pete and his military background. Each character brought a whole new element to the table and should be remembered for it.
If they had survived they would have continued to make positive improvements to the characters they met and the world around them. They would have saved more lives, created new communities and been the tipping point of victory or defeat in times of warfare.
These short-lived characters used the little time they had in the most effective way. They saw the good in others, learned to follow others, proved that loyalty still exists and even if it led to their downfall, remained true to themselves.
