Fear The Walking Dead season 4b key art shows a storm brewing
By Sonya Iryna
Fear The Walking Dead returns in August and from the key art it appears that the biggest danger the survivors will face in 4B is Mother Nature.
New Fear The Walking Dead key art for the second half of season 4 shows the survivors surrounded by a brewing storm of hurricane proportions. Despite the lack of seeing Madison’s death on screen it appears that she is really gone because the only cast members featured in the art are Alicia Clark, Althea, Strand, Morgan, Luciana, June and John. Morgan has his trusty stick and Alicia has her signature weapon but would any weapons really be effective against walkers hurtling towards them at hurricane speeds?
Neither show has really addressed what would happen to any survivors during a catastrophic storm like a hurricane or a tornado. But since major weather events have been increasing every year for the last few years it’s safe to assume they would continue to occur after the apocalypse. It will be interesting to see how the survivors adapt to the challenges caused by hurricane speed winds and flooding. They’re already used to being without power, but major storms can ruin the availability of clean drinking water and make it tougher to find defensible shelter. Not to mention what it will do to the walkers.
In the first half of Fear The Walking Dead season 4 the lines between hero and villain got very blurry for Alicia, Strand and Luciana. Will they continue to have a grudging alliance with Morgan, Althea, June and John in the face of the coming storm? Or will conflict between the two sets of survivors increase? Fear The Walking Dead returns on August 12th so we will have to wait until then to find out.
