The Walking Dead’s prolific uber-producer Gale Anne Hurd will talk about her show Lore at the Amazon Prime panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

Gale Anne Hurd will be wearing lots of hats at San Diego Comic-Con as she not only makes appearances at AMC’s The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead panels, but she’ll also be talking her show Lore at the Amazon Prime panel.

Hurd will be busy on Friday, July 20 as she moves from panels about zombies to one where she’ll discuss her show about nightmares. After she wraps up The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead panels earlier in the day, she’ll move from Hall H to Ballroom 20 to talk Lore at Amazon Prime Video’s two hour presentation from 3:30-5:30 PM.

More from Undead Walking

Hurd’s Lore has received rave reviews since it debuted on October 13, 2017, and we can expect to learn more about the show’s future at the SDCC panel. The show is based on a podcast that “uncovers real-life events that spawned people’s darkest nightmares.” Hurd, whose work on The Walking Dead has been known to elicit a nightmare or two, serves as an executive producer of Lore along with Howard T. Owens and Ben Silverman.

The Amazon Prime Video panel will feature six creators whose content is blowing up Amazon’s streaming service. Carlton Cuse will be at the panel to talk his new show Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and Naren Shankar will be present to discuss the newly resurrected The Expanse, which found a new home at Amazon after being cancelled at SYFY. Also in attendance are Ben Edlund (The Tick) and Sam Esmail (Homecoming). Rockstar writer Neil Gaiman will also be on hand to talk his role as creator, writer and showrunner of Good Omens.

Hurd is a SDCC veteran, with 2018 marking the ten-year anniversary of her appearance at the convention to promote The Incredible Hulk and Punisher: War Zone. The prolific producer is used to juggling multiple projects with unimaginable ease, so panel-hopping at SDCC is old hat by now.
