5 characters with the most to prove in The Walking Dead season 9

Fan anticipation rises with season 9 of The Walking Dead just months away. Before the new season airs several characters have a lot to prove.

The Walking Dead season 9 has some heavy explaining to do since anything and anyone may go when October rolls around. Season 8 may have tied several loose ends but it left great expectations for several key characters.

With Negan defeated, Oceanside coming together, and the remaining Saviors choosing to join Rick, one would think everything can start over with a fresh new outlook similar to what Carl was hoping for in his letters. But before gardens can start growing and different communities coming together for dinners, five characters will need to prove their worth and themselves.

Whether it will be by coming completely clean, providing aid when asked, working diligently on weapons supply, being able to accept other points of view or doing some damage control, this coming season will be the prime time to do it.

Even if a time jump takes place on The Walking Dead there will be a lot to cover not including new faces like Georgie and her unusual crew and the ever-present helicopter mystery. Will there be any clarity or will Rick and the group be facing situations even they haven’t prepared for?
