Jadis/Anne

Jadis, now known as Anne, led a large number of people living in a junkyard with a peculiar style of speech. After losing everyone she had known to the hands of bloodthirsty Savior Simon, Jadis’ identity seemed to have disappeared revealing perhaps her true self.

Speaking properly, ditching black clothing for something more domestic cadis remained at the junkyard with a recently captured Negan awaiting a helicopter. The helicopter left her behind leaving viewers without any explanation.

Burying the hatchet with Negan and freeing him Jadis remained until she was retrieved by Morgan with a blank slate at her feet with the opportunity to start over. What will Jadis do now?

For one she needs to prove her loyalties to Rick. Will Negan get in the way of that happening during season 9 of The Walking Dead?

Her past has yet to be fully explored which makes next season the perfect time to do so. Perhaps she has a connection to Georgie?

Perhaps Georgie had reached out to her similarly with Maggie? It’s obvious that when everything fell apart Jadis had a backup plan in mind to the point she packed her belongings and set up a makeshift SOS area timing down to the very second the helicopter arrived.

Rick needs proof who she is loyal to or else she will not last long. For starters, she needs to come clean about herself.

Rick barely saw her true self and as far as he’s concerned she’s an enigma. Things like who she was and what she did before the apocalypse needs to be explained.

If she has any connections to the outside world she has to trust Rick and tell if not show him everything. She may know where more communities reside and supplies can be found.

Rick’s means of trusting people vary and it may be too late to ask her his infamous three questions. Truth is Jadis will be the odd one out with the group and will have the most to prove.
