The Walking Dead season 9 trailer will be debuting on Friday at San Diego Comic Con during the show’s annual Hall H panel. Here are some things fans might see in the video.

Season 8 of The Walking Dead was the most jarring season of the show yet, which leaves fans with so many questions as to what might happen to our favorite survivors of the zombie apocalypse in season 9.

With so much speculation as to which teases might be included in the season 9 trailer debut on Friday at San Diego Comic Con, viewers of the popular AMC survival drama series are chomping at the bit to find out what will be revealed.

Here are just a few theories of what some teases that might be seen in the trailer.

Maggie Vs. Richonne

In the season 8 finale, Maggie, Daryl, and Jesus were in agreement that they were not satisfied with how the Negan situation was handled.

Maggie stated that she felt that Rick and Michonne were both at fault for not properly assessing the situation by not killing Negan. Could the trailer show a glimpse of Maggie and her new assassin crew scheming up a plan to go against Rick and Michonne’s wishes to kill Negan?

Negan locked up

Last time Negan was seen in the season 8 finale, Rick and Michonne had him all tied up. This leaves viewers to wonder, what has now become of the once bat-wielding man?

Negan might be seen in his infamous cell from the comics, and maybe even be getting a visit from Rick Grimes. It will be really interesting to see where Rick and Negan’s relationship goes this season. Will they still be brutal enemies, or will they finally put their feuding pasts to an end?

D.C. or Bust

A lot of fans have been speculating that Rick and the gang may be headed to Washington D.C. in season 9. D.C. has always been a destination point since Abraham and his crew wanted to travel there to possibly find a cure for the virus.

Maybe Rick and the gang will be traveling to D.C. in search of a new community possibly? It is always very exciting to see the characters travel to new locations in the show. Who knows what adventures may be lying ahead for them in season 9.

Alexandria Rebuilt

In season 8, Alexandria collapsed in flames after Negan and the Saviors had burned it to the ground.

While some of the community was still intact, a huge part of it had gone down in flames. Could Alexandria be fully rebuilt in the trailer? In season 8 when fans tragically lost Carl Grimes, Carl’s vision for the future included a newly built and thriving Alexandria community.

It has been such a huge loss for both Rick and Michonne to cope with Carl’s death, but will they honor his wishes by continuing to move forward and build Alexandria into something greater and bigger than it was before? The thought of seeing what Alexandria 2.0 is going to look like this season!
