Andrew Lincoln not currently scheduled for future Walker Stalker Cons

Andrew Lincoln confirmed his departure from The Walking Dead at San Diego Comic-Con, and he’s currently not slated to appear at any other conventions.

As much as Andrew Lincoln loves The Walking Dead, he needs a break. After a whirlwind appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in July, the actor doesn’t appear on any of the guest lists for upcoming Walker Stalker Cons. The schedules have been released through 2019 and the guest lists are certainly subject to change, but as of this moment Lincoln is not scheduled to appear at any of the Walker Stalker events.

There are two Walker Stalker conventions that would make sense for an Andrew Lincoln appearance: Atlanta (October 26-28, 2018) and London (March 30-31, 2019). At this point he’s not scheduled to appear at either event. The Atlanta convention boasts an incredible lineup of over 50 members of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead casts, both past and present. But Andrew Lincoln is nowhere to be seen. The same can be said of London, which is just a hop, skip and jump from where Lincoln resides.

What does this all mean? At this point seeing Lincoln live on stage might prove challenging, so there’s that. But it also means that if/when he agrees to appear then that could be the last time fans will see him live while season 9 is airing. That means that any conventions he joins will likely sell out quickly. Very quickly.

Seeing Lincoln at San Diego Comic-Con was bittersweet given that it will be his last appearance as part of The Walking Dead cast, but it would be truly unfortunate if that was his last convention appearance ever. It doesn’t seem like this would be the case, but that’s how it looks at this point.
