Kevin Zegers of Fear The Walking Dead lands recurring role on Dirty John

Keven Zegers left his mark with The Vultures on AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead and soon fans can check him out on the Bravo true crime series Dirty John.

Viewers of Fear The Walking Dead during season 4 were treated to a lot of new characters joining the fray. With many of them being immensely talented, the show took on a new feel and entered a realm of extreme danger.

Sadly, many characters were also lost during the first 8 episodes from season 4 of AMC’s zombie survival drama, including the leader of The Vultures named Melvin, who was played by the highly charismatic Kevin Zegers.

Sadly, Melvin didn’t last long once pit against the group of survivors from the show, While The Vultures definitely did their damage to the Clark family as well as others at the baseball diamond, the entire group with the exception of Charlie fell.

The good news is that Kevin Zegers has already landed his next project. According to Deadline, he will have a recurring role on the Bravo true crime anthology series Dirty John.

The report says that Zegers will play the part of Toby, the nephew of Debra Newell. The main plot of the story revolves around a relationship between Debra and John Meehan as the two “spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation.”

Eric Bana (Munich, Troy) and Connie Britton (American Ultra, Nashville) have also been cast in the show which has already been picked up for two seasons on Bravo from Universal Cable Productions, Los Angeles Times Studios and Atlas Entertainment.

Zegers should be able to bring the same kind of charisma to Dirty John that he portrayed as Melvin on Fear The Walking Dead, means fans of true crime and his work on AMC’s zombie drama will want to pay close attention to this upcoming Bravo show.
