Fear The Walking Dead returned for the second half of season 4 and fans had a lot of feelings about the fallout from the first half of the season.

Fear The Walking Dead shocked fans with two major deaths in the first half of season 4. Losing Madison Clark and Nick Clark means that Alicia Clark is now the OG, the only character left from the pilot episode. And in the Fear The Walking Dead midseason premiere for season 4 Alicia, Strand, and Luciana have been left anchorless. Without Nick and Madison, they don’t know who to be, where to go, or what they’re living for anymore. It was sad to see such loved characters so listless, but totally understandable too.

Morgan decided that he wants to return to Rick and the others. Finally, Morgan has realized that he needs to be with his family and that Rick, Carol, Jesus, and the others are his family. He visited each of the survivors he’s met in Texas to ask them to go to Alexandria with him. But the only one to take him up on the offer was Althea.

The plan is for her to drive him to Virginia and check out the communities for herself, but it’s safe to assume that something or someone will pop up to keep them from going.

It felt wrong for the survivors to be separated, but that’s one way that this group differs from The Walking Dead group. The Walking Dead group is all in for each other but this group isn’t. They have shifting allegiances and there is a sense that they really are only together because of circumstances. But considering how tense and tenuous the connections between them have been this season maybe it’s good that they have a little distance from each other to process everything they have gone through.

As always fans had a lot of feelings about the fallout from Madison and Nick’s deaths and the situation that the survivors are in now. Check out some of the best fan reactions to Fear The Walking Dead’s midseason premiere “People Like Us”:
