Roundtable discussion: Fear The Walking Dead 409 People Like Us

The season 4 midseason premiere of Fear The Walking Dead titled People Like Us raised some interesting questions about Morgan, Alicia, and whether the group can stay connected without Madison.
This week, Sara and I are breaking down some of the questions raised in the Fear The Walking Dead midseason premiere titled “People Like Us”. This episode was focused on the fallout of the deaths of Madison and Nick during the first half of the season.
Even though for fans Madison’s death was the midway point of the season in the timeline of the show Madison’s death occurred before Nick’s shocking murder. So Luciana, Strand, and Alicia were already reeling from Madison’s death when Nick was killed. It’s hard to say which loss will be harder for the group to take. The loss of Alicia’s entire remaining family is going to dramatically change Alicia forever. And Strand and Luciana are struggling too now that Madison and Nick, who were their anchors in the post-apocalypse world, are gone.
Morgan decided that he wants to return to Rick and the Virginia communities and he asked each of the people he has met in Texas to go to Virginia with him. So the remaining survivors must decide what comes next for them. Will they go with Morgan in the hope of finding a real community that they can join or will they stay on their own trying to eke out survival individually in Texas? Althea is going to go with Morgan and help him get back to Virginia but the others don’t seem very motivated to join them.
