Is Community Even Possible For These Survivors?

There isn’t really a core group on Fear The Walking Dead. There’s a collective of people who help each other out when necessary but they’re not a group that way that the survivors on The Walking Dead are. Madison really wanted to create a community. She was the driving force trying to get everyone to work together. Without her strong will and strong personality do you think that the remaining survivors will ever form a cohesive group? Can they after everything they have done to each other?

Sonya says:

"I don’t think that a community is possible among the survivors that are left. Even when he was at the stadium Strand had a car packed and he was ready to leave Madison and the others behind at any moment. I think that unlike Rick’s group on The Walking Dead the Fear TWD characters are strongly individualistic and they’re very wary of depending on others. They also haven’t shown a lot of tendency towards self-sacrifice or a willingness to do whatever it takes to protect the group. I think it’s possible that they could join a community and be good members of that community. But I don’t think that left on their own they would naturally gravitate towards forming a community."

Sara says:

"Madison’s dream was to ultimately create a place where people from all over could unite and come together as a community to help each other out. She wanted to create a place for Alicia and Nick so that they would feel safe and have a better life. Now, since Madison and Nick are both gone, I think that the group should honor her wish and put their differences aside and come together to live as one group. I really do think that the survivors can learn that their past altercations with each other won’t serve them well in the future, and that it would be wise to band together as one big group in order to help them move strongly into the future. Perhaps a new threat may have the group pull together in that way this season."
