Charlie says she can see Madison in Alicia, even if Alicia can’t see it herself. “I left Morgan alone in the storm,” Alicia admits. She walked away from everything. Charlie says she’s good at finding things.

They drive off. “Close your eyes,” Alicia says. “I’m going to take you to the beach.” She says it used to be her favorite place to go. Once Charlie’s eyes are closed, Alicia gives her a full-sensory story about the beach. She talks about the smells and the sights, and how the water is cold but then it turns nice. “And you float,” she adds. She asks if Charlie can see it. She can. In her memory she can see her parents at last.

They arrive at the mansion, which looks like it sustained some damage. The record player is destroyed. No one is home. She finds Morgan’s covered wagon and it’s destroyed. Charlie calls her and shows her that the school bus has overturned. Charlie says they have to find them and help them. Alicia says they don’t know if they survived or not. “They’re gone,” she says. Alicia tells her that “things don’t get better, and they’re not going to. They’re going to get worse.” Suddenly an Infected walks out and it looks tall enough to be John Dorie but it’s not. Alicia takes her weapon back from Charlie and kills it, and then she stares at the body. She turns back to Charlie and they walk away.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC.
