The Walking Dead director tabbed for American Horror Story: Apocalypse

After working on two episode of The Walking Dead, Jennifer Lynch will be lending her talents to the second episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
There have been many great episodes in the history of AMC’s zombie survival drama series The Walking Dead and several directors have lent their talents to creating those installments of the story.
One of those individuals in Jennifer Lynch, who is known for directing episodes titled “JSS” and “Spend” in 2015, which featured the story of Enid as well where a supply run goes VERY wrong for Alexandria.
Lynch has also shown her talents on multiple other popular programs, directing episodes for the following shows according to IMDB:
- Elementary
- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Jessica Jones
- The Strain
- Salem
- Once Upon A Time
- Teen Wolf
- Finding Carter
- Psych
- and MANY more
Jennifer Lynch has also done two episodes of American Horror Story in her career: Season 6 episode 3 on Roanoke titled “Chapter 3” and the season 7 finale from Cult titled “Great Again”. And she will add another episode to that resume.
Bloody Disgusting recently revealed Lynch will be directing the second episode from American Horror Story: Apocalypse titled “The Morning After” when it airs on September 19, 2018. The episode is written by James Wong, known for his work on The X-Files and Final Destination.
Apocalypse brings back numerous familiar faces to the series while sprinkling in some new cast members, meaning the show will include Jessica Lange, Cody Fern, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Joan Collins, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Stevie Nicks, and many others.
Considering the crossover of horror with fans of American Horror Story and the success of Jennifer Lynch while directing on The Walking Dead, this means that the second episode of Apocalypse could be absolutely amazing. Don’t miss it when it airs on FX this September.
