Alicia Taking The Lead

Charlie said that she sees Madison in Alicia. Do you think that Alicia will follow in Madison’s footsteps in wanting to create a community for survivors the way Madison had intended for the stadium to be like? Also, is Alicia ready to lead a community right now?

Sonya says:

"I think Alicia is very capable of leading a community. She pretty much took over Brokejaw ranch when Madison and Taqa went to the dam and the place was overrun. And she handled that well. She can be a competent and inspiring leader just like Madison. But right now I don’t think she’s in the emotional place to do that."

Sarabeth says:

"Alicia was ready to go her own way back at the ranch. She and Jake were making plans for the future when it didn’t seem like Madison was ready to think that far ahead. (That was when Madison was intent on keeping the ranch) With the loss in her life, I’m not sure Alicia is at a point where she wants to focus on anything yet. She is finding her way, but she will get there and eventually she will want to build a place to live. I think Alicia, like Maggie, has the potential to lead but she’s not quite there yet. Like any true hero she is being forged in the fires and when she emerges she will be a leader unlike anything we’ve seen before."

Sara says:

"I can totally see Alicia forming a stable community someday. After we saw how she was able to accept Charlie even after she killed her brother, shows that Alicia still has some humanity left in her. I really do believe that Alicia does want to help people, but first, she must help herself. Once Alicia has come to terms with accepting her own pain, I think she will be more than ready to lead a group of people. The survivors in Fear really need to find a stable community to live in and I really do think that Alicia will be able to do that someday."
