An actress from AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead episode 410 was among those included in TVLine’s article discussing candidates for their Performer of the Week.

Season 4 episode 10 of Fear The Walking Dead was an episode that featured two characters trying to come to terms with existing in a world full of death and destruction and how surviving can sometimes be worse than death.

Alicia Clark is still in mourning after the loss of her mother Madison and her brother Nick, struggling to find her purpose in life while the person she blames for those deaths, a girl named Charlie, still lives in the group among them.

Played by Alexa Nisenson, Charlie has struggled to deal with the results of her actions. Shooting Nick weighs heavily on her, as does leading The Vultures to the baseball diamond where Madison eventually faced her demise after being engulfed by walkers.

The episode titled “Close Your Eyes” put Alicia and Charlie under the same roof. Tension flared between the two as Charlie questioned whether she wanted to continue living and Alicia debated killing the person who brought so much misery to her life.

Season 4 episode 10 featured arguably the best acting from the season. TVLine normally awards one actor with a Performer of the Week nod on their website, but they also list other notable performances as well.

As one of the honorable mentions for the week in the article, Alexa Nisenson stood out in a huge way for her role as Charlie. Here is what TVLine had to say about her performance:

"“In Sunday’s two-character “Close Your Eyes,” Nick’s killer was stranded during a storm with his vengeful sister, Alicia (the previously-recognized Alycia Debnam-Carey, doing stunning work). As she heaped guilt on top of the guilt that had already driven Charlie to contemplate suicide, Nisenson painted a portrait of remorse so harrowing that she left our faces looking as stricken as hers.”"

There is no denying the amazing expressions Charlie had throughout the episode as well as some of the powerful dialogue she delivered, especially after not speaking during previous episodes following Madison’s death.

But it isn’t just this episode where Nisenson shined. she has been putting forth amazing performances since her debut on the AMC zombie survival drama series.

"“Wearing the haunted expression of a kid who’s seen things even adults shouldn’t, Alexa Nisenson captured our attention the minute Fear the Walking Dead introduced her as Charlie. Since then, the 12-year-old has wowed us over and over with the depths of vulnerability that she’s skillfully played. Little did we know all that time that the youngster was just warming up.”"
