13) As Alicia acknowledges what Charlie was attempting to do with the family’s pictures, she recites Madison’s mantra (First heard in the second episode of the season, “Another Day In The Diamond”): “No one’s gone until they’re gone”.

14) Charlie recounting watching her parents turn is the first real bit of backstory we’ve learned from her directly this season.

15) Charlie lamenting not having a picture of her parents is similar to Carl having the same lament (Only about Lori) back in The Walking Dead Season Three episode, “Clear”.

16) Alicia giving Charlie her gunbarrel blade seems like a symbolic “passing of the torch” between the two.

17) Charlie telling Alicia she sees Madison in her is a nice reversal of Alicia mocking a cliched reason why she might have saved Charlie from the impaled infected earlier in the episode.

18) This episode gets its name from Alicia telling Charlie to “close her eyes” before describing the beach to her as they drive away from the house.
