The good stuff from FearTWD 411
Knowing there is good in the world. A group of survivors who gather supplies for those who are needier is something viewers haven’t seen much of these days. Most survivors are extremely selfish, so it’s nice to see the other side of that coin.
Coffee must taste like magic. Like many people, I love a great cup of coffee to get me going. After going so long with little options for beverages, enjoying a great cup of joe and using a real toilet (WITH TOILET PAPER!) has to be absolutely amazing!
New characters with unique personalities. Wendell and Sarah are fun and interesting and their actions are quite different from anything we’ve seen to this point. It’s also good to see that they aren’t the completely good-hearted people they appeared to be at the start of the episode…and the complexity of characters is always good.
A dose of his own medicine. Even if your intentions are good, your actions may not always line up with a positive outcome. While it is totally uncool to leave Morgan stranded on top of a vehicle surrounded by walkers, his waffling and deception makes it seem like some poetic justice, which is odd for someone as full of morals as Morgan.
Morgan coming clean. It’s hard choosing between old friends and new friends as well as helping others or helping yourself. His speech on the radio was exactly what he needed to feel better, even if it might not be the best way to entice people to help him out.
Pervus is frightening. A woman writing on a walker who she has named and laughing to herself sets up an interesting story going forward. This is something fans are definitely going to want to watch develop over time.
