The overall impression of FearTWD 411

As a whole, this was a very good episode of Fear The Walking Dead. It contained a couple of fun twists, particularly in characters who may or may not actually be good or bad in their intentions when dealing with other survivors.

It also put to rest Morgan’s current division between going back to help his new friends or returning to Alexandria to reunite with his former companions…but his dream of bringing them all together might end up so great.

The new characters all seem exceptionally interesting, but the question of how over the top the person on the radio who was making the boxes will be and what her connection is to the creepy walker.

But it’s all about Morgan and his development. His ability to not to leave anyone behind was being greatly challenged, but the thought of his new friends being dead was enough for him to challenge his goal. Bringing people together is a real strength of Morgan, as well as helping establish morality and teamwork within new groups.

This episode was enjoyable and even offers a lot of entertainment value for multiple viewings. While it did have a different feel from the show’s previous three seasons, it continues to develop Morgan as well as add new and interesting survivors to the mix.

Episode grade: 8.8/10
