7) Morgan…taking a dump is the first time that has ever been addressed in either Walking Dead show. Soooo…at least now no one can say it hasn’t been addressed, I guess?

8) Wendell is the first person in either Walking Dead show we’ve met who uses a wheelchair. I’d be honestly curious to see what happened to him at the beginning of the outbreak.

9) When and how did Wendell lose Benelli, his dog? Or, considering what we learn about Wendell and Sarah later, was Benelli even his dog in the first place?

10) Wendell and Sarah warn Morgan that the hurricane flooded (And possibly even destroyed) some roads on the way from Texas to Mississippi. This is yet another first, as it’s the first time the destructive nature of weather has really been dealt with in either show.

11) This episode gets its name from the practice Wendell and Sarah claim to live by (Which they call “The Code“): “You gotta help people when they need help”.

12) Was the fact that Wendell didn’t know the term “Keep on truckin'” a clue that he and Sarah weren’t the people leaving the boxes along the road, despite their claims to being so?

13) In another bit of possible foreshadowing, as Morgan is about to head back towards Texas, the sign above the truck stop entrance seems to read “Under new management” (We can only see the end of “management”, but, it’s reasonable to assume). Is this a clue that the truck stop (along with its mission of leaving supplies for survivors) is now both literally and figuratively “under new management”?
