The good stuff from FearTWD 412

  1. June admitting her faults. She may have a tendency to run away when things get hard, but things are different this time. Her faith in John Dorie and some questioning of her ability to change could be an interesting story to watch develop, especially with her not wanting to fall into her old patterns.
  2. Al being stranded with someone who knows medicine. If you’re going to be sick during the zombie apocalypse, having it happen around someone with some medical experience is good. Then again, having that sick person drive while the healthy person rides shotgun isn’t the greatest idea.
  3. June is quite handy. It seems she’s got so many skills! Like Hershel or Dale on TWD, she can fill the role of so many characters and be a survivor that could adapt and thrive in just about any situation. As long as she as finally settled down, she should have no problem being one of the most valuable characters on the show.
  4. Learning from Madison. Madison picked up June and welcomed her, despite how they met. June may be a lot more skeptical than Madison was, but she still spared Quinn, the man who stole the van, even though he seemed like the kind of person you might not want in your community.
  5. Coming clean. Even though it took her getting caught in a big and dangerous lie, Al finally talking about what some of the tapes mean to her and what the vehicle in general means. It added a bit to who she is and what her goal is, even if guarding tapes and a van is silly. People and surviving is the top priority.
  6. Man, that lady is creepy. Quinn is the new Pervis, but the real story is that the woman who has been surviving and trying to prove she’s not weak while sparing walkers while killing people. The show hasn’t had a villain like this in a while, so that should be interesting.
