1) June desperately trying to contact John over the radio (And getting no answer) is reminiscent of Rick trying (And failing) to get in touch with Morgan in the first episode of Season Two of The Walking Dead, “What Lies Ahead”, something we’ll see again later in the episode.

2) How long have June and Althea been stranded for before we start to see them using up their remaining supplies? We know a couple of days pass before they’re forced to abandon the SWAT truck to find fuel, but, how long before that? DAYS?

3) In the title sequence, we can see someone next to the SWAT truck as they close in on an infected in front of them. Initially, I assumed this to be Al, but, after the events of the end of the episode, I’m not quite so sure…

4) Sarah calls the dead “Skin munchers”. This is the eleventh unique name for walkers in Fear The Walking Dead, and the first we’ve heard from Sarah, Wendell, or Jim.

5) Sarah and Wendell reminisce about their dad, suggesting that one of the two of them (At least) had been adopted.

6) When Sarah questions Morgan about whether or not he thinks he’ll reach any of his friends, Morgan responds that someone once tried to keep a radio channel open for him, “As long as he could”. This is a reference to Rick in the first (And part of the second) season of The Walking Dead, which also parallels nicely with June’s attempts to reach first John, then Morgan.
