Fear The Walking Dead 412, Weak: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
14) After three attempts (Two over the previous episode, and one in this episode) Wendell finally gets the “Keep on truckin'” line correct, as he attempts to reassure Morgan when the pair assume no one heard his attempts to call out.
15) June calling out to a stranger (In this case, Quinn) makes this the second consecutive episode where that happens at or near the end of the episode. In the previous episode, Morgan called out to Purvis. In both cases, The Filthy Woman eavesdropped on the message.
16) Quinn calls June “Cipro”, after the medicine she was looking for. This is the third nickname she’s racked up thus far.
17) Quinn is the thirteenth named person to die this season.
18) The Filthy Woman is the second person in either Walking Dead show to regularly have a walker on a leash, the other being Michonne. In a funny coincidence, both are black women with dreadlocks.
19) The Filthy Woman siccing Purvis on Quinn (And then collecting Quinn’s walker) raises a question I asked last week: Did she kill Purvis? And, if so, was it in the same fashion that she killed Quinn?
20) As The Filthy Woman writes Purvis’s message on Quinn’s face, she speaks of how Quinn will no longer be “weak”. …Hmm. She seems to have a strange outlook on things where she sees the living (Apparently) as “weak” and the infected as not “weak”. This makes her the third person overall (And second person in Fear The Walking Dead) to have a bizarre philosophy about the dead, the others being Lizzie Samuels in Season Four of The Walking Dead, and Celia Flores in Season Two of Fear.
And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
