12) Morgan burying Purvis is a habit he picked up from Dr. Eastman way back in the Season Six episode of The Walking Dead, “Here’s Not Here”.

13) Sarah and Wendell confirm for Althea (And us) that the man they stole the truck from was a gentleman by the name of Polar Bear, the same person Sarah (Presumably) thought Morgan was when he used the truck stop radio in her and Wendell’s introductory episode, “The Code”.

14) With it being confirmed that Purvis isn’t Polar Bear, then…who was he? Why would The Filthy Woman write (Presumably) Polar Bear’s code on Purvis’s face? And, why was she saying that Purvis was “making them weak“?

15) When questioned by Sarah about what The Filthy Woman was talking about, Morgan tells her “I got some things I gotta make up for”, the same thing Luciana said to Clayton earlier in the episode.

16) The alligator is the first animal to pose a threat to any protagonist in either Walking Dead show since the feral dogs attacked Nick in the Fear Season Two midseason premiere, “Grotesque”.

17) This episode gets its name from the licorice-flavored candy John carries around with him (To remind him of June), otherwise called a “Blackjack“.
