MVP from Fear the Walking Dead episode 414: Al bonds and is bold
By Adam Carlson
Sometimes it takes a friendly voice and a bold gesture to make a big impact. That is exactly what the MVP from Fear The Walking Dead episode 414 did.
Fear The Walking Dead had quite a few storylines going on during season 4 episode 14 on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 where characters faced huge challenges, whether it was walkers at a hospital, losing their way, or dealing with a crazy woman.
Each survivor faced their own problems in the episode titled “MM 54” and some flourished while others floundered. However, on individual rose to the occasion enough to be named the Most Valuable Person from episode 414.
The MVP from FearTWD 414 is Al!
Several characters made big strides here, with Morgan attempting to be the group’s leader, Sarah and Wendell opening up a bit about their past, and Alicia was doing everything she could to make everything good for Charlie. But it was Al who did more than she probably knows.
Of course, it was the selfless gesture of Al to go alone to turn on the power for the elevator to get the survivors to the room that essentially saved everyone, but she did more than that thanks to her inquisitive nature.
Through asking many questions to Sarah and Wendell, she learned about why Wendell is in his wheelchair and the reasons Sarah is so protective of her brother. Through that, she can create a bond with them and perhaps get them to feel like more of the group instead of their own dynamic duo.
Of course, this all stems from Al’s desire to get to know “new people”. The fact she’s doing so without her camera shows that she is genuinely interested in learning more about the survivors and not just documenting the stories they want to share on a videotape.
Do you agree that Al was the MVP from season 4 episode 14 of Fear The Walking Dead? Or did a different character shine more from “MM 54” and get that honor? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
