Can Martha Be Redeemed?

Martha a.k.a The filthy woman holds a similar tragic backstory just like Morgan and the other survivors. Do you think that it’s possible if she can be redeemed by the group despite her violent actions?

Sonya says:

"I don’t think so. I think it’s possible that some people can be redeemed, like June was. And like Morgan himself was. But Martha I think is too far gone. Just like The Governor couldn’t get it together again after he had his breakdown I don’t think Martha would be able to get past everything she’s been through and live in peace in a community. And they couldn’t ever really trust her, which just makes her a liability."

Sara says:

"It’s possible, however I don’t think that will be the case. I think that Martha really has it out for the group, if their lives are being threatened, there may be no sense of redemption for her. I don’t think that Morgan wants to go that route though, but I guess we will have to see whether he changes his mind in these final episodes."

Sarabeth says:

"I think she’s absolutely redeemable if she can be made to see that her way is not the right way. There are better ways to deal with the pain of loss and betrayal, and this might be the perfect group of people to help her see that given that everyone has experienced some kind of loss. Next: Can Morgan Lead The Group?"
