Fear The Walking Dead, MM 54: Things To Note

13) As we learn in the second half of Martha’s flashback, she’s clearly hunting for Polar Bear, this implies it was Martha that Clayton/Polar Bear (This has got to be a given by now!) told Luciana was looking for him, but he didn’t want to see in the previous episode, “Blackjack”.
14) After killing Purvis (Who we finally get to see alive), it’s revealed that Martha was also the woman who called out to Morgan at the truck stop back in the season’s eleventh episode, “The Code”.
15) With us witnessing Purvis’s death, that makes him the seventeenth named character to die this season, the sixth person to die in this episode, and the sixth person we’ve seen Martha kill.
16) In the title sequence, we see a smoldering truck in the road, with a city in the distance as more storm clouds symbolically gather.
17) Sarah revealing she was in the Marine Corps makes her the first former military member we’ve met in Fear since Crazy Dog of the Black Hat Reservation back in Season Three.
18) While yelling at Jim, Sarah calls the dead “Meat Munchers”, the twelfth separate name for the dead in Fear.
