Overall impression of FearTWD 415

This episode of Fear The Walking Dead was about bringing the survivors together and having the entire team ready for what should be the final face-off between Martha and her walkers and the group led by Alicia and Morgan next week.

However, Al is still the wild card. She’s missing and didn’t pop up at all during the episode and her status heading into the season finale is totally in question. Hopefully, she is okay and she will turn up in the next episode.

As an individual episode, there were plenty of good things. Bringing the survivors together for one cause was an amazing thing, especially when it came to John and June…especially considering how many things tore them apart previously.

But the anticlimactic save of John and Strand left plenty to be desired and felt like it was a last-second answer to getting them to the group instead of focusing on them saving themselves. Still, it’s good that the division is mostly over…until they find Al anyway.

As a whole, this was a good episode to set the stage for the finale. Martha is as hell-bent as ever on eliminating the weak from the world and has a good reason to stop the other survivors, who are a strong group but need to lean on each other…something she didn’t have after the death of her husband.

EPISODE GRADE: 8.1/10
