The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln is a finalist for E! People’s Choice Award

Fan favorite Andrew Lincoln is a finalist in the E! People’s Choice Awards and needs The Walking Dead fans to vote for him.

The Emmys and other award shows might continually snub The Walking Dead but when it comes to fan-driven contests the AMC zombie drama is always represented. This year Andrew Lincoln is a finalist for Best Male TV Actor of 2018 in the E! People’s Choice Awards. The official Walking Dead on AMC Twitter account put out a tweet calling for fans to go vote for Andrew:

Popular awards shows have notoriously skipped over some of the outstanding performances that The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead actors have delivered over the years. It’s hard to watch the fine actors of these shows get passed over for awards year after year but in the hearts and minds of the fans, their performances are always special.

Now that Andrew Lincoln is set to leave after just a few episodes in season 9 winning this award would be a great way to send him off, so vote as often as you can TWD Family. No award can adequately capture what Andrew Lincoln means to the fans or what Rick Grimes has meant to the success of The Walking Dead but it’s a nice way for fans to show their appreciation to Andrew for the many years of hard work and time away from his family that he put into bringing the iconic Rick Grimes to life.

After you vote for Andrew Lincoln in the E! People’s Choice Awards you can continue to get ready for The Walking Dead season 9 premiere that is just slightly more than a week away. There’s been a lot of discord in the fandom during this hiatus that mirrored the discord between Team Family survivors on the show but in the season 9 premiere Team Family is back together again in a way that they haven’t been in several seasons so hopefully the fandom will be able to heal from this turbulent hiatus as well.

Just remember TWD Family – this one thing that you can count on in the zombie apocalypse is that you never really know what’s coming. Get ready for a whole new world and a new The Walking Dead that has the core group of survivors stronger than they have ever been.
