June radios to Morgan and says that he needs to get back. They thought Al was sick, but now they’re all sick. Something bad is happening. They’re all passing out, weak and sick. Something is very wrong.

Morgan picks up speed, telling June to hang on. Martha starts moaning, telling him to stop, but he won’t. He needs to get to his friends. She agrees to take the medicine so he opens the window. She grabs his arm and yanks it so that he loses control of the car and crashes into the wall.

Morgan starts to wake up and he sees Martha coming for him. She says she’s making him strong. He can see her writing on his face as he regains consciousness. “I lose people, I lose myself” is written on his forehead. He has a piece of metal in his thigh.

When he finally wakes up he says it doesn’t have to end this way for them. She says she made it so that he can’t help his friends. Now it comes down to either him killing her or her killing him. He needs to get to his friends. She says that she knows that losing them will make him the way he was before. June radios to say that whatever is happening is getting worse. Martha says he has a choice.

June says they need to stay hydrated. She realizes that all of the water has been contaminated. The bottles have all been opened. They’ve been poisoned. Al knows it was Filthy Woman.

June calls Morgan and says Martha did it. She put something in the water. Morgan asks if it’s true and she says that by helping her he damned his friend and made them weak. She put antifreeze in the bottles. He tries to tell her but they can’t hear him. She says there’s nothing he can do. He tackles her and chokes her. He sees their faces in his head as he grabs her throat. “Now you’re strong!” she gasps. He sees his reflection and the message on his face and he won’t kill her. He pulls the metal out and cuffs Martha to the car. He won’t kill her but he won’t let her kill people after she turns. She cries that it wasn’t supposed to be like this as he walks away.

Morgan walks through the woods. He tries the radio again.

Back at the mini-mart, Alicia comforts Charlie, who is sleeping with her head in her lap. They can’t hear him calling for them on the radio.

In his desperation to get back, Morgan finds a car and hotwires it.

Al has her camera at the ready. She puts in a tape and looks back at the people she talked to. She smiles as she sees their faces.

When the car runs out of gas, Morgan goes along on foot. He trips at one point.

The tapes continue. Families. Children. So many people. She smiles again, tears running down her face.

Morgan calls again. No answer.

The walkers are at the door. Al sees the radio and walks over to it. She says she’s not letting “that bitch” beat her. She calls to Morgan and says she’s coming for her. She’s going to get the Filthy Woman. Morgan’s voice comes across and he’s able to tell them about the antifreeze. June says that ethanol will reverse the antifreeze and Sarah says there’s a tanker of it outside. They all laugh because the answer is right outside. Al tells Morgan that they’re going to be ok, they just need him to make it back. He laughs and says he’s on his way.

The group knows that there are walkers all around the mini-mart so they start trying to distract them using the windows. John shoots his gun and Wendell is at the ready with his. They run outside and try to get to the truck. They’re weak and sick so not everyone makes it. Strand gets to the truck and Luciana holds them off. The tanker valve is stuck. Al uses the van to mow down the walkers, buying them some time. She also manages to shoot the truck, so that the ethanol leaks out.

Back inside Morgan calls again and June reports that they lost the ethanol. Morgan tries to tell her to find another way. John gets on and says there’s no other way. Morgan says he can’t lose them. He can’t go back to what he was. John says he won’t, but Morgan says that she was right that he wasn’t strong enough. John says Morgan is the strongest person he knows, and there are other people out there who need him. The radio goes out, leaving Morgan on his own. Morgan takes out the walkers on the road, unleashing his fury.
