Fear The Walking Dead: Who died in the season 4 finale I Lose Myself

Fear The Walking Dead wrapped up season 4 with a heart pounding episode. Are all of the characters going to be going forward into season 5?
Fear The Walking Dead delivered another intense episode in the season 4 finale “I Lose Myself”. Season 4 has been the most cohesive, exciting, and intense season yet. And fans can breathe a sigh of relief because no more major characters died in the season 4 finale. All of the new characters and Morgan, Alicia, Strand, and Luciana will be around for season 5.
In the Fear The Walking Dead season 4 finale Morgan finally faced off with Martha the Filthy Woman one on one. Martha told Morgan the story of how her husband Hank died and how no one would stop to help them. And it’s easy to understand why that experience broke Martha and made her the way she was. But any sympathy for her disappeared after it was revealed she poisoned all the water back at the minimart.
While Morgan was dealing with Martha everyone else had gone back to the minimart to stock up on supplies, clean up, and get ready for the trip to Virginia. But Martha had put antifreeze in all the water in the minimart, so the group quickly began to show signs of poisoning and were deteriorating fast. Martha admitted to Morgan she poisoned the water with antifreeze.

Morgan leaves Martha handcuffed to a car to succumb to her wounds and a raging infection from the gunshot that she suffered when Wendell shot her and races back to the minimart. He stops en route to pick up Jim’s beer, because the cure for antifreeze poisoning is ethanol, or alcohol. Morgan arrives in time to save his friends, thankfully. Later on the group finds walker Martha and Morgan puts her down and buries her with Hank. So long Filthy Woman, and good riddance.
A Season Of Loss
While all the surviving main characters thankfully will be heading into season 5 this season can’t end without some mention of the two originals that were lost this season. Nick Clark and Madison Clark both were killed this season and both losses were shocking.
Losing Nick Clark was rough. The entire story of Fear The Walking Dead began with Nick and was focused on him. But the actor who played him wanted off the show and there was nothing that could be done about that.
Losing Madison just as tough as losing Nick. But her death will hopefully continue to drive Alicia’s story arc and her legacy will live on with Alicia, Strand, and Luciana. Actress Kim Dickens did a fantastic job bringing Madison to life and making her a complex character that in the end died the way she lived – protecting her kids at all costs. So pour out one of Jimbos Beerbos for Nick and Madison Clark as Fear The Walking Dead wraps up a stunning season and get ready for season 5 because this group’s new journey together is just getting started.
