Fear The Walking Dead, I Lose People…: Things To Note

1) Morgan and company’s situation as the episode begins strangely parallels that of John and Strand: Cut off from freedom by being surrounded by, to them at least, an impassable obstacle; In John and Strand’s case, it’s the alligator-infested flood water, in the rest of the group’s case, it’s the horde surrounding the hospital’s perimeter.
2) During the title sequence, a smashed-in car’s alarm blares as the night approaches, foreshadowing the means by which the group escape their predicament.
3) It’s rather amusing that, since the last episode featuring John and Strand, “Blackjack”, the pair’s outlook on their prospects have flip-flopped, with Strand being optimistic, and John being the pessimist.
4) As Jim stands on the ledge, he calls the infected “meat puppets”, the thirteenth separate name for the dead in Fear The Walking Dead.
5) Upon seeing the collapsed floor in the hospital, Sarah calls the infected “Jerkymen”, the fourteenth separate name for the dead in Fear, and the third Sarah’s used.
