6) Jim’s speech to Morgan about “Getting out from underneath the things you’ve done” sounds like something he’s had experience in. If so, what had Jim done that he seems to think he needs to make up for?

7) As they return to rescue him, the rest of the groups’ speech to Morgan about needing him seems like a callback to Morgan’s fears about going back to find the rest of the group in the season’s eleventh episode, “The Code”, that he would just make things worse for them. Their speech seems like a sound rebuke of Morgan’s fears.

8) Jim is the eighteenth named character to die this season.

9) Jim is also the third member of the group to die this season, behind Nick in the season’s third episode, “Good Out Here”, and Madison.

10) Finally, Jim is the second member of the group to sacrifice themselves to save the rest of the group, the other being Madison in the midseason finale, “No One’s Gone”.
